BIM Drafting Services provided 3D Modelling, Steel Detailing and BIM Management services to FMG’s Cloudbreak Enhancement Project.

Located 50km east of Christmas Creek, the Cloudbreak project encompassed 3800t of Structural, Platework and Mechanical steel and included Crushing / Screening plants, in addition to De-sand facilities.

Interfacing with the existing Cloudbreak Mine Site, BIM was able to back model the existing plant using "As Built" fabrication drawings, meaning clashes and construction issues were identified during 3D model reviews. This resulted in reduced site work and allowed the construction team to develop plans and forecasts using the composite model.
